My beautiful friend Nathalie and I had fun playing stylist and took photos of Christmas-y jewels last week. She has the most impressive collection of vintage clutch purses and jewelry!

As a total sucker for beautiful packaging, when I saw these new Crescent Row fragrances from Benefit at my favorite makeup store, I wanted one. I love the front door idea! They smelled so great too, my favorite was the My place or yours Gina. So spicy and yummy!

I also picked up a NARS lip gloss in the famous shade "Orgasm"

a whole week of touring Ottawa with my lovely boyfriend starts tomorrow! Yay! now I need to get prettied.

I love giggling at all the extravagant perfume and fashion commercials. A lot of them are more like short films, especially the new two part Dior ad The Lady Noire Affair directed by Olivier Dahan starring the beautiful Marion Cotillard. Jean-Pierre Jeunet also directed a sexy ad for Chanel No. 5 starring Audrey Tautou, another one of my very favorite French ladies. The last video is my current favorite that runs here in Canada for Stella Artois Légère.

I was inspired by the pictures in my previous post to organize the stuff on my desk a little differently, and take some new photos. I don't have a three-layered cake plate to put my jewelry in, but I think it looks a bit better like this. Right now I'm just having a carrot muffin and tea from Jane's, and admiring this kitten card I got from my Mom in the mail yesterday. It was the best (and funniest) part of my morning.

Wouldn't it be nice if everyday life was as pretty and carefree as Sofia Coppola's new Miss Dior Chérie ad? Very wishful indeed.

Make-up always looks so glamorous before Christmas. It's so hard to resist the lovely packaging.

Rainy, boring afternoon. I would love to rub some of this on my lips. I've seen it so many times as a favorite cosmetic and want to try it. Mint is my favorite flavor. I'm eagerly waiting for our visit to Ikea tonight after getting the catalogue yesterday.

I'm eagerly waiting to find out if I'll be given a position at a cosmetics counter. I was looking around a couple days ago, admiring the benefit cosmetics when it hit me how much I'd love to work there for the summer. I applied to three spots, so hopefully one will have me. It would be great to have a girly fun job, so in that mood this is my current wish list:
