new year, new project

Wanted to mention that my friend Nathalie and I just started a fashion styling blog, it's going to be super fun and nice to have someone to work on posts with and help fill in the blanks for each other during the busy times at school! and best of all collaborate with someone who knows your style and they know yours well too.  Photos from French Vogue's 90th Anniversary masked ball, the most glamorous fashion party there could ever be. I can't stop looking at Natalia's lace dress and Gisele's mask! So beautiful, I wish there was a photograph of every single guest.

It's a rainy friday, and I'm enjoying some hot tea and this gorgeous relaxed photo of one of my favorite stylish women Diane Kruger. Sometimes a plain t-shirt is so much more beautiful than a glamorous outfit or dress.

I'm so in love with these cropped bustiers and bralettes from Free People, and especially the Merriweather Bra from Anthropologie. They look so comfortable, and that little bit of extra length is really flattering (especially on those of us with a smaller bust...)

My boyfriend showed me this song this morning and I haven't been able to get the song or the video out of my head since! It's so simple and beautiful, I love girls with strong voices like hers. As soon as I heard it I thought of Queen meets Shakira yet totally unique. Plus she's gorgeous.

This is going to be my song of the week I think.

My beautiful friend Nathalie and I had fun playing stylist and took photos of Christmas-y jewels last week. She has the most impressive collection of vintage clutch purses and jewelry!

It's so hard not to love Marchesa...All of it is so feminine and beautiful, my eyes nearly popped out of my head when I saw Blake Lively in that embroidered white jacket! So incredibly elegant but still sexy. The designers Keren and Georgina are as beautiful as the models and actresses who wear their designs.

I love these perfect messy French bun steps from the YSL experience Parisienne blog by Joanna. I tried to do it this morning on my way to fashion class, but I couldn't get that same effect. I'll have to keep practicing.
