new year, new project

Wanted to mention that my friend Nathalie and I just started a fashion styling blog, it's going to be super fun and nice to have someone to work on posts with and help fill in the blanks for each other during the busy times at school! and best of all collaborate with someone who knows your style and they know yours well too. So check it out, it's going to be fun :)

Love the idea of Elte's second life rugs, the process by which a 40-70 year old traditional rug is dyed a new and beautiful overall color. It's so cool how the old pattern shows through and recycled into something gorgeous. I want the pink one!

My dream winter coat, by Reiss. Sold out of course and too expensive, but maybe I can learn to make a similar one next winter. So simple and beautiful.

Also I've been searching high and low (in this case low) for a similar look to the Miu Miu Suede ankle boots, they are the perfect mix between and heel and boot for the winter, so if anyone has seen any :)

I'm finally home for Christmas break (yay!) after working all term on our fashion lines at school. I'm so proud of everyone and it was a great runway show at our University Port Campus. I worked on a small line named Écru, made up of three outfits all in a neutral palette. I couldn't have had a better team, and I'm so happy with how everything went.
