new year, new project
Wanted to mention that my friend Nathalie and I just started a fashion styling blog, it's going to be super fun and nice to have someone to work on posts with and help fill in the blanks for each other during the busy times at school! and best of all collaborate with someone who knows your style and they know yours well too. So check it out, it's going to be fun :)

I'm finally home for Christmas break (yay!) after working all term on our fashion lines at school. I'm so proud of everyone and it was a great runway show at our University Port Campus. I worked on a small line named Écru, made up of three outfits all in a neutral palette. I couldn't have had a better team, and I'm so happy with how everything went.

Vacation time! We're going home for two weeks, and all I want to do is eat, shop, and relax. Can't wait to get there.

Last weekend was so much fun. Its just starting to feel like spring here, and the first sunshine in over a week, so just for that it was wonderful. We walked around downtown and did a little shopping, and I was the most excited girl in the world when I found this DVF top (don't worry Mom) super on sale from winter, went on a delicious dinner date, and watched the Oscars. Anytime fashion and food are combined I'm happy!

I know that just about every lady with a design blog right now is posting about the same issue of Lonny whenever a new one comes out, and how can we help it!? I'm still so happy and excited that we have access to this special magazine with so much content packed into it every issue.
After digitally flipping through it a bunch of times, the home that made me gasp every time was the 'Instant/Space' rendition Betsy Burnham did. The dark wood floors, perfectly mismatched patterns, every book and inspiration board out on display, and lots of white equals my interior heaven. Wow.

Wow, I can't believe how quickly school picked up and sucked me into a whirlwind of homework and stress! Always either in the fashion studio, or staring at Photoshop in the computer labs, and when I get home I just want to crawl into my bed and read or watch a sweet girly show. I'm having a good time though, and can't wait for reading week to begin so I can catch myself up and have some fun. I'm off to a good start though today. I woke up, baked some muffins, and now I'm off to do some more editing, then my new yoga class!
I felt so bad about not posting anything on this blog I used to adore so much, so here are some current favorite snippets from Elle Decor and Rita Konig's home!

Just a few shots I took for my digital photography class this week. We need to snap thirty a day which can be hard some days, but easy when I'm feeling inspired. It was a bright and sunny morning so I took some photos of my favorite spots in our apartment.
