I love Kim's bedroom update from Desire to Inspire. So pretty and fresh, and the shelves are perfect for magazine collections!

In love with the collection (and website) for label Whitley Kros. The designers use fictional character Whitley as their inspiration for their collections, and this season, Whitley is in love and going through a Bob Dylan phase.

Their website is also one of the funnest I've visited, with a killer soundtrack. I leave it open just to listen to the music. Love!

I've been enjoying the summer sun the past few days beside the pool with friends and food. If only every day were like that!

I was shopping in my closet last week, being a true recessionista, and found a flowy white dress I bought in high school. I tried it on, and felt like it was missing something on its own. I love this look Alix put together on The Cherry Blossom Girl. The faded demin jacket looks just right with that dress!

I love the show Design Inc. based in Toronto, and wanted to post some of my favorite rooms. Sarah Richardson is so good at creating beautiful design on realistic budgets.

I've been a very lazy girl lately, and enjoying it a little, but mostly feeling bored. From now on I'm going to try and be more productive. Whether it's gluing pictures in my scrapbook or finally sewing my blue skirt, I need to be a little more creative! I've been too pre-occupied with my new job and missing my boyfriend in school town. I never get tired of looking at photos of beautiful interiors, and they always cheer me up too. Especially ones from Desire to Inpisre, I always click on Kim and Jo's link first, because I know there will be something delicious that I love, like these rooms.

Sleeping well every night is important, and single or lonely ladies must not be forgotten! If you're the type of girl who can't fall asleep without the feeling of a lovely, strong, headless man holding you tight at night, I've found the perfect solution...

Meet Boyfriend Pillow! He never snores, has cold toes, rolls away from you, or sneaks out in the middle of the night!

The shopping here in Canada is really starting to branch out! If you're someone like me, who doesn't live in Toronto or Montreal, it's ordering online from your favorite stores, or rushed shopping sessions during a road trip to get your hands on lusted after goodies. Not to say there aren't many, many independent shops in every province that offer unique fashions and home furnishings, but as beautiful as they can be, most items are offered at expensive boutique prices to keep businesses afloat! This is when a budget-shopper university student like myself gets frustrated when she doesn't have access to the very pocket-friendly H&M, which made me thrilled when I found out we now have one in Nova Scotia!

Especially exciting to hear that we are being graced with a few Anthropologie locations, for splurge moments. It's nice to know now that when I'm drooling all over my online window shopping favorites, that one is likely close by, or on it's way.
