I'm about to embark on a new project this summer; sewing a skirt.
I want to try and gain some basic knowledge before launching straight into my fashion classes next semester. I fell in love with this watercolor blue, green, and lavender fabric. I salvaged all the leftovers in the sale bin! It reminded me of a pair of shorts by Elizabeth and James that I adore.
I've also recently discovered how much fun Polyvore is, where I first found my inspiration for this outfit! I'm going to be using it often.

I love giggling at all the extravagant perfume and fashion commercials. A lot of them are more like short films, especially the new two part Dior ad The Lady Noire Affair directed by Olivier Dahan starring the beautiful Marion Cotillard. Jean-Pierre Jeunet also directed a sexy ad for Chanel No. 5 starring Audrey Tautou, another one of my very favorite French ladies. The last video is my current favorite that runs here in Canada for Stella Artois Légère.

Aaaaaaah le Festival de Cannes...I would love to go someday. Getting all dressed up to go to the movies, by the beautiful beaches of France. The most respected filmmakers, actors, and actresses. It would be the most fabulous vacation ever. I wish I were there to see the world premier of Inglourious Basterds and the French version of Up voiced by Charles Aznavour for Edward Asner's character.

I thought this dress was worth a mention from the oh so fancy Banana Republic Monogram collection. If I see it in my size, I'll need to fight the temptation to try it on, and then subsequently buying it.

I found myself looking at the portfolio of decorator Geoffrey Bradfield, and realized that though these are still very pretty, they seem like so long ago! The year 2000 is almost ten years ago, but still feels like right now at the same time. Interior photos from a long time ago generally feel so dark too! I liked these ones though because they still feel like they could be from today.

I wish I were a Chloé girl.

How I'd love to walk up to this front door with the keys in my hand. "Curb Appeal" would be an understatement.

I'm sad that I don't have access both financially and regionally to these beautiful, beautiful clothes from Anthropologie. That is all.

Anyone who knows me will know that I like white things, and I never shut up about it on here either. I'm finally home from school for the summer, so I'm going to try and get back into my blog routine. I went through my old folders and figured I should post all my old favorites plus some new. Also we found a fantastic apartment I'm moving into in the fall so I'll be on a search for short-term/temporary decorating ideas! I seem to really love white plus pink punches, or other springy colors. It's the Swedish girl in me.
