It's gorgeous women like Jane (via une fille comme moi) who make me want to chop my hair off and have a sleek, shiny, short haircut like this.

As a new reader of The Selby, I was excited to see Alexander Wang's apartment. He's my favorite designer right now, I have a collage of his favorite things torn from a magazine up on my inspiration board. Such a great, young influence on modern fashion. Also he's cute as a button!

The leaves are turning just slightly, which makes me excited for fall. I want everything around me to be warm and glittery. I saw these cupcakes, and felt a little drooly. Vanilla chai latte cupcakes...
YES PLEASE?! Now I need to find that very exact recipe.

I'm in the mood to watch all kinds of fashion icon documentaries. Especially Unzipped, I'll get them one night when I want to let go of my brain and watch something fun and superficial.
I tend to get this weird hunger for 90's fashion, I think from how rebellious I felt watching Fashion Television because I wasn't allowed in elementary school. There's such a satisfying nostalgia just from hearing this song.

Had a very fun, and productive day today. A shopping date with boyfriend, applied to a cute take-home restaurant around the corner, and apartment hunted in the morning.
I saw a couple of gorgeous Marc by Marc Jacobs bags at one store, and if I get that job, I'm going to make one of them mine...maybe. His print ads always make me giggle, they're just the right amount of silly.
I'm going to go cuddle up and watch Year of the Dog with a bag of m&m's, and hope this all works out.

I'm off to check out a new girly gym with a school friend for the cool dreary season ahead. It'll be a fun (and healthy) outlet for when things get stressful. If only I could walk to it in this weird but cool coat from Adidas by Stella McCartney.
