My new favorite back to school band is Chester French; D.A. Wallach and Maxwell Drummey are Harvard graduates, which is probably the reason their music sounds so smart. It would be nice if their intelligence made its way through my ears into my brain this year.

I'm slowly moving back into Halifax for school, and am so excited to start. I'm catching up on my favorite blogs right now, and Holly Becker's pretty living room in Germany caught my eye.

My Mom and I had such a nice trip to Montréal a few days ago. The old part of town was especially beautiful. We also fit in a visit to the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts to see the Yves Saint Laurent show, which was just gorgeous.

Rainy, boring afternoon. I would love to rub some of this on my lips. I've seen it so many times as a favorite cosmetic and want to try it. Mint is my favorite flavor. I'm eagerly waiting for our visit to Ikea tonight after getting the catalogue yesterday.

Yesterday evening I went to Montréal to see Radiohead on tour for their album In Rainbows. It poured rain on us, and afterward there was a rainbow. How perfect. Thom Yorke's voice was incredible, and the light installation was beautiful. I had a wonderful time.

Got the look book for Play by C. Ronson in my email today from Urban Outfitters. Pretty dresses and layering pieces. I get so excited for the fall.
