Making a trip to Ikea next week with some friends, and hopefully will pick up one of these. I've always found them so pretty, and should be easy to bring to every place I end up in.

Went to the Zone Maison here in Ottawa and there were lot's of cool things from Umbra. I'd love to visit the new Umbra Concept Store in Toronto if I can this summer.

Yesterday at Winners, I found this bag almost just like the one I mentioned loving at Urban Outfitters, and for a lot, lot less...I win!

I think this photo from Pia Jane Bijkerk is simply beautiful. and appropriate since I wanted to mention how much I love this artist. The 'I'm Good I'm Gone' remix is my new favorite evening walk song.

I'm probably the latest person to say how beautiful Victoria Smith's San Fransisco apartment is. I picked up the book Apartment Therapy a month ago, and didn't make the connection right away that one of my favorite places featured, Victoria's, was also the creator of one my favorite blogs - sfgirlbybay. It was such an "of course!" moment. Makes perfect sense now why I stickered that page.

I hope I have a swing just like this at my future house.

I super love this. I went back to the page it's on 4 times while at work so it must be true love. I don't think I'll have the power to resist if I see it at Urban Outfitters in Montréal.

I'm planning a visit to Montréal next month with my Mom, and making a list of things to see. At the top is a visit to the Yves Saint Laurent exhibit at The Montreal Museum of Fine Arts.

I really liked Rachel's idea from Black*Eiffel of making your own illustrated travel guide of all the places you want to go.

I'm madly in love with Tine Kjeldsen's home in Denmark. Her collection catalogue is gorgeous too. When I found her on decor8 the other day I thought it was the most beautiful space.

I can't count the number of grey, white, oatmeal, and black fashions I have in my closet, but I think I've accepted my natural plain jane ways. Though if I'm not careful, I'll wake up a minimalist one morning.

Aida Dirse's handmade bowls are so pretty. I love finding beautiful detail in things that have a humble exterior, whether its a bowl, the lining of a skirt, or pattern inside of an envelope.

I'd love to pick something from this vintage fan farm. I've had the same fan since I was 6 and it makes the worst nosies, but also just because of how much character an old fan can give to a space.

I'm not the type to have celebrity crushes, but if I had to choose one it would be on French actor/model Gaspard Ulliel. I thought this photoshoot was really interesting, but I'm not sure what it's for.

I'm still going through some apartment fever, and getting ideas from apartment therapy, Alan Higgs Architects, and poppytalk.

I like to get way ahead of myself and imagine my future apartment in too much detail. Two very pretty things from Pier 1 Imports.
